Shaivism (Shaiva philosophy)
Source: Wisdom Library: 艢aivism厂耻艣辞产丑补 (啶膏啶多啶�) was a disciple of Khagendran膩tha (his consort being Vij膩hut墨), an incarnation of Siddhan膩tha in the first yuga, belonging to the P奴rv膩mn膩ya (鈥榚astern doctrine鈥�) tradition of Kula 艢aivism, according to the Ci帽cin墨matas膩rasamuccaya. Siddhan膩tha incarnates as a Kaula master in each of the four yugas.

Shaiva (啶多啶�, 艣aiva) or Shaivism (艣aivism) represents a tradition of Hinduism worshiping Shiva as the supreme being. Closely related to Shaktism, Shaiva literature includes a range of scriptures, including Tantras, while the root of this tradition may be traced back to the ancient Vedas.
