: Shodhganga: Kakati Ganapatideva and his times (artha)Su峁卥膩dhik膩ri (啶膏啶權啶曕ぞ啶оた啶曕ぞ啶班た) or Su峁僰膩dhik膩ri was an officer who collected 蝉耻峁卥补蝉 or tolls in a sthala, village or market. Sarv膩dhik膩ri Ga峁嘺payya of Tripur膩峁卼akam inscription dated A.D, 1245, seems to be 蝉耻峁卥腻诲丑颈办腻谤颈 since he remitted customs. Similarly he assigned the tolls on the sales and purchases in local markets to the god Rame艣vara at Velpur.
Arthashastra (啶呧ぐ啷嵿ぅ啶多ぞ啶膏啶む啶�, artha艣膩stra) literature concerns itself with the teachings (shastra) of economic prosperity (artha) statecraft, politics and military tactics. The term arthashastra refers to both the name of these scientific teachings, as well as the name of a Sanskrit work included in such literature. This book was written (3rd century BCE) by by Kautilya, who flourished in the 4th century BCE.
