ܰś (स्फुरद्रश्मि) refers to “radiant rays�, according to the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, “O mother of the universe, it resides within (the Wheel of) the Self-supported above the (Wheel of) the Foundation. (There is) a triangular wheel (there) that is very brilliant and full of radiant rays [i.e., ܰś-ܱ]. In the middle of that is a great Drop whose form is that of a Kadamba flower. That (Wheel) is said to be the Yoni that causes the path of emanation to flow�.
