Pancaratra (worship of Nārāyaṇa)
: archive.org: Catalogue of Pancaratra Agama TextsŚṅkܲٳ貹Բ (शङ्खुस्थाप�) refers to certain preliminary temple-construction rites, as discussed in chapter 3 of the 屹Ჹṃh or “Bhāradvāja-kaṇva-saṃhitā�: a Pāñcarātra text comprising some 230 ślokas mainly concerned with basic details concerning temple construction and icon consecration.—Accordingly, [“concerning the construction of a temple”]: [...] Then, in addition, he should find a Vaiṣṇava Brahmin and some other Ṛtviks. Thereupon he should take a ritual bath with his Ācārya and the Ṛtviks and, next day in the center of the village, he should attend to śṅkܲٳ貹Բ-activities and ٳܱū-rites. Next a 첹ṇa-ṇḍ貹 should be erected in front of the Viṣṇu temple—and this should have four entrances.
