ٳٱ屹 (सत्त्वभा�) refers to “involuntary state�. The term is used throughout ṭyśٰ literature.

It is of eight types:

  1. stambha (paralysis),
  2. pralaya (fainting),
  3. ñ (horripilation),
  4. sveda (sweating),
  5. ṇy (change of color),
  6. vepathu (trembling),
  7. ś (weeping),
  8. vaisvarya (change of voice).

According to the Daśarūpa 4.6, “The Involuntary States (bhāva sāttivka=ٳٱ屹) are separate, for, although in the category of Consequents (Գܲ屹), they are different [from these] just because of their arising from the inner nature (sattva); and this is [the reason for] the realization of such states..�
