Saṃnipātaparibhāṣ� (संनिपातपरिभाषा).—The maxim or canvention that an operation which is based upon, or is caused or occasioned by, a relationship between two things cannot break their relation; in short, such an operation as results in breaking the relationship between two things on which it is based, cannot take place. This dictum is many times followed in grammar in Preventing the application of such rules as are likely to spoil the formation of the correct word; many times, however, this dictum has to be ignored; For details see Pari.
