[For in their case,] the wise recommend either a 艢aiva or Vai峁ａ箛ava mantra ending in 苍补尘补岣�. Otherwise, a 艢奴dra as well as a woman should practise with a non-Vedic [mantra] prescribed earlier, and they should repeat [it] forty times in Pr膩峁嚹亂膩ma. 艢奴dras should not repeat a Vedic mantra and women should never [do so]鈥�.
