Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayana or tantric Buddhism)
: Brill: Śaivism and the Tantric Traditions (tantric Buddhism)ʰññṣe첹 (प्रज्ञाज्ञानाभिषेक) refers to the second of three higher initiations, according to the Saptāṅga (Cf. Vāgīśvarakīrti’s Tattvaratnāvaloka verse 17).—The coded language expresses what happens in the three higher initiations (ܳṣe첹, ññṣe첹, ٳܰٳṣe첹), the first two of which are of a sexual nature. [...] The second stage, where a sprout is said to be born and made to grow in a pure lotus, alludes to the ññṣe첹, where it is the initiand who copulates with the/another consort. The sprout represents his fledgling wisdom.

Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources. Esotericism and tantra techniques (Բ) are collected indepently.
