Source: Wisdom Library: Maha Prajnaparamita SastraṇaԲ (निर्वाणनगर) refers to the “city of Nirvāṇa�, according to the 2nd century Mahāprajñāpāramitāśāstra chapter 32.—Accordingly, “the thirty-seven auxiliaries (ǻṣi첹) are the path () leading to Ծṇa. When one follows this path, one reaches the city of Nirvāṇa (Ծṇagara [ṇaԲ?]). The city of Nirvāṇa has three gates (屹), emptiness (śūԲⲹ), signlessness (Ծٳٲ) and wishlessness (ṇiٲ)�.

Mahayana (महायान, mahāyāna) is a major branch of Buddhism focusing on the path of a Bodhisattva (spiritual aspirants/ enlightened beings). Extant literature is vast and primarely composed in the Sanskrit language. There are many ūٰ of which some of the earliest are the various Prajñāpāramitā ūٰ.
