: Pali Kanon: Pali Proper NamesA village in Ceylon, residence of Dhatusena, father of Dathanama (Cv.xxxviii.14). Gokanna, officer of Gajabahu, was once defeated there (Ibid.,lxx.72). The village is perhaps identical with Nandigama.
