: The University of Sydney: A study of the Twelve Reflections惭辞丑腻帽箩补苍补 (啶啶灌ぞ啶炧啶溹え) refers to a 鈥渂lack ointment of delusion鈥�, according to the 11th century J帽膩n膩r峁嘺va, a treatise on Jain Yoga in roughly 2200 Sanskrit verses composed by 艢ubhacandra.鈥擜ccordingly, 鈥淭he world is similar to an illusion, like a black ointment of delusion (尘辞丑腻帽箩补苍补) for the senses. With regard to this, we do not know why this world goes astray鈥�.
