: MDPI Books: The Ocean of Heroes惭补苍苍补办丑别峁璦 (啶え啷嵿え啶栢啶�) (variant reading 蝉补苍苍补办丑别峁璦) refers to a 鈥渄ead village鈥�, according to the 10th-century 岣屇乲膩r峁嘺va-tantra: one of the last Tibetan Tantric scriptures belonging to the Buddhist Sa峁僾ara tradition consisting of 51 chapters.鈥擜ccordingly: 鈥淣ow, [the Blessed One] has taught [holy sites] such as the 艣尘补艣腻苍补 and upa艣尘补艣腻苍补 in sequence. [...] (9) Mummun墨 is a 艣尘补艣腻苍补 [site] Caritra, Harikela, and M膩y膩pur墨 are also the 艣尘补艣腻苍补 [sites]. (10) The upa艣尘补艣腻苍补 [sites] are the base of a mountain, a dead village (尘补苍苍补办丑别峁璦), Surapura, and Kar峁嚹佱弓ap膩峁璦ka. [...] Girls who are in these places are of [the nature of] the innate, born in their own birthplaces. [...]鈥�.
Note: The manna in 惭补苍苍补办丑别峁璦 (鈥渄ead village鈥�) is interpreted as a corruption of sanna- (鈥渄ead鈥�). The Tibetan translation (sngags kyi zhing) suggests a possibility of 尘补苍迟谤补办丑别峁璦, 鈥渁 mantra village,鈥� whose meaning is, however, obscure.
