: archive.org: Bulletin of the French School of the Far East (volume 5)Manijambi (啶え啶苦啶啶た) (in Chinese: Mo-ni-chan-pi) refers to one of the fifty-five kingdoms enumerated in chapter 17 of the Candragarbha: the 55th section of the Mah膩sa峁僴ip膩ta-s奴tra, a large compilation of S奴tras (texts) in Mah膩y膩na Buddhism partly available in Sanskrit, Tibetan and Chinese.鈥擨n the Candragarbhas奴tra, the Bhagavat invites all classes of Gods and Deities to protect the Law [dharma?] and the faithful in their respective districts.鈥擨n Manijambi, the following deities are appointed (among others): The Devaputra Pu峁asvara; the Gandharva N膩r膩ya峁嘺; the Kinnara Mahe艣varapu峁a; the Asura V膩ra峁嚹乻墨putra.
