Lalitaśūradeva (ललितशूरदेव) (f. 853 A.D.) is the name of a king from Kārttikeyapura mentioned in the “Plate of Lalitaśūradeva (853-854 A.D.). He is known from the published record from Pānḍukeśvar, was the son of P.M.P. Iṣṭagaṇadeva and grandson of Nimbara. The names of the mothers of Lalitaśūradeva and Iṣṭagaṇadeva were Vegādevī and Nāśūdevī respectively. Lalitaśūradeva’s own queen is known, from a Bāgeśvar inscription referred to below, to have been Sāyadevī (possibly the same as Sāmadevī mentioned in the Pāṇḍukeśvar plate of year 21).

This inscribed copper plate (mentioning Lalitaśūradeva) is preserved in the temple of Yogabadarī (one of the Pañcabadarī) at Pāṇḍukeśvar (Pāṇḍukeśvara). The date is estimated 22nd December 853 A.D. and it records the grant of some land which was in the possession of a person named Denduvāka and was lying within the jurisdiction of the administrative unit called Thappalasāri forming a part of the viṣaya or district of Kārttikeyapura.
