: archive.org: The Indian Buddhist IconographyñԲś (ज्ञानवशिता) refers to one of twelve Vaśitā Goddesses, as commonly depicted in Buddhist Iconography, and mentioned in the 11th-century Niṣpannayogāvalī of Mahāpaṇḍita Abhayākara.—Her Colour is whitish blue; her Symbol is the sword on lotus; she has two arms.
ñԲś is described in the Niṣpannayogāvalī (ٳܱ岵īś-ṇḍ) as follows:�
“ñԲś� is whitish blue in colour and holds in her left hand the sword on a blue lotus�.
[These Vaśitās are collectively taken to be the spiritual daughters of the Dhyāni Buddha Amitābha. The twelve Vaśitā Goddesses [viz., ñԲś] are described collectively as two-armed, holding in their right hands the lotus and in the left proudly bearing their special symbols.]

The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., jñāna-ś). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
