: Asian Agri-History: Paśu Āyurvēda (Veterinary Medicine) in GaruḍapurāṇaҴDZṃs (गोपुंस�) refers to “bullocks�, according to Āyurveda sections in the Garuḍapurāṇa.—The bullocks (DZṃs) play important role in fieldwork, hence to keep up the general condition, ū (lentil) and (rice) pounded and mixed in the milk of a cow or a buffalo is advised internally. This formulation is useful in maintaining the strength of bullocks also.
