2. Dathanaga Thera - A forest dwelling monk in the time of Mahinda IV. The king made use of his services in recitals of the Abhidhamma. Cv.liv.36.

3. Dathanaga Thera - A monk of Ceylon, author of the Niruttisaramanjusa. Svd.1241; but see Bode: p.29.
