: academia.edu: Tessitori Collection ICothamal (啶氞啶ムぎ啶侧) or 鈥溼箽峁 Cothamal鈥� is the author of the 鈥�Nokarav膩l墨 k墨 岣峢膩la鈥� (dealing with the Ethics section of Jain Canonical literature), which is included in the collection of manuscripts at the 鈥榁incenzo Joppi鈥� library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.鈥攖here are several Sth膩nakav膩sin or 濒辞峁卥腻驳补肠肠丑补 monks with the name Cothamala (Cauthmal). But this could be the most famous one, born VS 1800鈥攄ied VS 1880, a prolific author of narrative or didactic poems (R膩jasth膩n k膩 Jain S膩hitya p. 184). Here he invites one to get rid of desire and of all that prevents from spiritual progress.
