o� tulasy amṛta-janmāsi sadā tva� keśava-priyā
keśavārthe cinomi tvā� varadā bhava śobhane“O Tulasī, you manifested from nectar and you are very dear to Śrī keśava. now I am collecting your leaves for the service of Keśava. O bestower of benedictions, be pleased with me.�
