: academia.edu: A Study and Translation of the GaganagañjaparipṛcchāܻԾ峾 (बुद्धनियाम) refers to the “fixed course of the Buddhas�, according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly, “[Characteristics of behavior of all beings] [...] The behaviour’s essence, essential character (ṣaṇa), [...] the essential character of the entrance into the fixed course of the Buddhas (ܻԾ峾), the essential character of distant cause, the essential character of intermediate cause, and the essential character of immediate cause—he knows all the essential characters of behavior truly as they are, and there is no fault at all in his understanding�.
