īū貹 (बहीरूपत�) [=Bahīrūpa?] refers to an “external form�, according to the Īśvarapratyabhijñāvivṛtivimarśinī 2.161.—Accordingly, “‘And this � is not enough� [means the following]. [Something] that [only] consists of the manifestation in an external form (īū貹), [i.e. in the form ‘this,’] of what remains [of the past experience in the shape of] an internal residual trace; [that is to say, something] that is merely separated [from the subject expressed as ‘I,� but] that, although manifested, [appears] without any specific place and time—[this is] not [enough] for inference to trigger any activity ending in a bodily action. [...]�.
