Source: Wisdom Library: Brihat Samhita by Varahamihira础蝉峁沢驳谤补丑补 (啶呧じ啷冟啷嵿啷嵿ぐ啶�) refers to the planet Mars, according to the B峁沨atsa峁僪it膩 (chapter 4), an encyclopedic Sanskrit work written by Var膩hamihira mainly focusing on the science of ancient Indian astronomy astronomy (Jyoti峁).鈥擜ccordingly, 鈥淚f Jupiter should be eclipsed [i.e., vibhinna] by the lunar disc the men of G膩ndh膩ra, of Sauv墨raka, of Sindhu and of K墨ra (K膩艣m墨ra) the rulers of the Dravi岣峚 countries and Br膩hmins as well as food grains and mountains will suffer for ten months.
