2) Ā貹 (आपवन�).—An ancient sage. Kārttavīryārjuna once burnt the āśrama of this ṛṣi and he cursed Agni and Kārttavīryārjuna. (Ślokas 42 and 43, Chapter 49, Śānti Parva, Mahābhārata).
