Anulomana (अनुलोम�) refers to “regulation� (e.g., of the provocation and suppression of natural urges), mentioned in verse 4.24 of the ṣṭṅgṛdⲹṃh (Sūtrasthāna) by 岵ṭa.—Accordingly, “[...] and inasmuch as the wind is usually irritated by this (provocation and suppression of natural urges) in many ways, one shall apply to it food, drink, and medicine (suitable) for its regulation [viz., anulomana�.
