Source: Wisdom Library: Maha Prajnaparamita Sastra础濒辫腻测耻蝉 (啶呧げ啷嵿お啶距く啷佮じ啷�) refers to 鈥�(that which leads to) a short life鈥�, according to Mah膩praj帽膩p膩ramit膩艣膩stra (chapter 22).鈥擜ccordingly, 鈥淣ow, as the Buddha said to the Up膩saka Nandika, the killing of living beings has ten punishments. What are these ten? [...] 6) He always has bad dreams. 7) At the end of his life (箩墨惫颈迟补辫补谤测补惫补蝉腻苍补), he dreads a bad death. 8) He plants the causes and conditions (hetupratyaya) leading to a short life (补濒辫腻测耻蝉). 9) After the destruction of the body (办腻测补产丑别诲补) at the end of life (箩墨惫颈迟补-辫补谤测补惫补蝉腻苍补), he falls into hell (niraya). 10) If he reappears among men, he always has a short life.
