Adhimucyati (啶呧ぇ啶苦ぎ啷佮�氞�嵿く啶むた) or Adhimucyate.鈥�(= Pali adhimuccati; compare prec. and foll. ite峁僺), (1) is actively interested in, zealous for, earnestly devoted to, intent upon (with acc.); see under adhimukti for Tibetan rendering, and discussion of meanings, which on the whole parallel those of the verb; see also adhimukta, adhimok峁�a, and other derivatives. Doubtless the original or literal meaning was, he concentrated his interest on the palace, with the thought鈥�(it is to be) 驳辞濒诲!鈥� and it became entirely made of gold. In [Buddhist Hybrid Sanskrit] the word (i)ti is omitted: 叠辞诲丑颈蝉补迟迟惫补产丑奴尘颈 60.5 p峁泃hiv墨m apo 'dhimucyate, changes (magically) earth into water, and a series of like clauses in the sequel. So in the miracle of turning four bowls into [Page015-a+ 71] one: catv膩ri 艣ailamay膩ni p膩tr膩峁噄 grah膩yaika峁� p膩tram adhimuktam 顿颈惫测腻惫补诲腻苍补 393.17鈥�18, (by the Buddha) taking the four stone bowls, a single bowl was made by magic; compare pratig峁沨ya caika峁� p膩tram adhiti峁ａ弓hati sma, adhimukti- balena Lalitavistara 385.4鈥�5, and having accepted (the four bowls) he changed (them) magically (see s.v. 补诲丑颈迟颈峁ａ弓丑补迟颈) into a single bowl, by his power of magic transformation.

Closely allied with Prakrit and Pali, Sanskrit is more exhaustive in both grammar and terms and has the most extensive collection of literature in the world, greatly surpassing its sister-languages Greek and Latin.
