At these words, the °Õ²¹³Ù³óÄå²µ²¹³Ù²¹²õ were purified in the presence of the °Õ²¹³Ù³óÄå²µ²¹³Ù²¹ himself. [22]

At these words (-zhes brjod-pas), in the presence of (la) the central deity or the °Õ²¹³Ù³óÄå²µ²¹³Ù²¹ himself (de-bzhin gshegs-pa-nyid), the °Õ²¹³Ù³óÄå²µ²¹³Ù²¹²õ (de-bzhin gshegs-na-nyid) of the retinue were purified (sbyong-par gyur-to) in the realisation of the four kinds of enlightened activity, through receiving his authorisation.
